Virtual Tues Afternoon Group: Stress Busting Program for Family Caregivers

Connections is excited to offer a virtual Stress-Busting Program for Family Caregivers. This is an evidence-based program that provides support to family caregivers. Join this group that will meet from 1:30-3:00 on Tuesday afternoons for 9 weeks beginning on June 6 and ending on August 1. Limit 8 people. No additional people will be added after the first session.

It is proven to:
Improve the quality of life of family caregivers caring for people with chronic illnesses.
Help caregivers manage their stress and cope better with their lives.

The Stress-Busting Program is a multi-component program where two facilitators meet with a small group of caregivers. The program is focused on education, support, problem-solving, and stress management. It takes a holistic approach addressing the emotional, physical, spiritual, and cognitive needs of caregivers. Participants meet for nine weeks for 90 minutes per week.

Come to this lecture to explore your smartphone’s camera and some features like recording video, adding filters to pictures, and using your camera’s timer! We’ll also go over some basic tips for taking good selfies, selecting backgrounds, and using optimal lighting. This presentation will cover Android and iPhone.

Join us for a fantastic program and a light lunch.
The Money Smart for Older Adults Program raises awareness among older adults and their caregivers on preventing fraud, scams, and other elder financial exploitation. The curriculum encourages advanced planning and informed financial decision-making. Money Smart for Older Adults was developed jointly by the FDIC and the CFPB.
A special guest speaker from Availa Bank will be giving information about protective measures that Availa and other banks have in place to keep you, as their customer safe.
