Having home internet can help you save money, look for a job, connect with others, make everyday tasks easier, and much more! This lecture goes over basic information you need to know when signing up for home internet service. You’ll also learn about the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP), a permanent, government program that helps qualifying low-income households pay for internet service and connected devices. In some cases, depending on your internet plan, the ACP discount may help you get home internet for free!

You must have attended Part 1 on Jan. 11 and must bring your own smart device. (Laptop, tablet, or smartphone)

Osceola - Tai Chi for Arthritis and Fall Prevention
Join us at the Senior Center beginning on January 24th for Tai Chi. Classes will meet on Tuesdays and Thursday from 1:30-2:30. Each class builds on concepts from previous classes. For that reason, no participants can be added after the second class. Classes will continue through March 23rd.

Connections is excited to offer a virtual Powerful Tools for Caregivers. This is an evidence-based program that provides support to family caregivers. Join this group that will meet from 6:00-7:30 on Thursday evenings for six weeks, from January 26 through March 2, 2023. Limit 8 people. No additional people will be added after the first session.
Powerful Tools for Caregivers gives you the skills to care for yourself while caring for someone else. You become a better caregiver by taking care of your own health and well-being. Six sessions held once a week are led by experienced class leaders. Class participants are given The Caregiver Helpbook to accompany the sessions and provide additional caregiver resources.
